Allen Shapiro is a former entertainment attorney and current media executive and investor. He helped shape a merger between Gold/Miller Management and Atlas Entertainment that formed Mosaic Media Partners and served as Partner and President. Mosaic Media Partners represented artists such as Jim Carrey, Will Ferrell, Alanis Morissette and Greenday. Allen facilitated a buyout of Dick Clark Productions (DCP), who are the owners of The Golden Globes, The American Music Awards, The Billboard Music Awards, New Year’s Rockin’ Eve and others, from Dick Clark and became the CEO and Executive Chairman of the company. While at Mosaic, he bought and successfully sold the publishing catalogues of Aerosmith and ZZ Top. Allen structured the acquisition of The TV Guide Network by One Equity Partners and Lionsgate, where he served as Chairman of the joint venture. He has a background of successful investments in diverse categories such as Skims, Aviation Gin, LAFC, Epic Games, and Blaze Pizza.
